The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

I always associate The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf cafes as large, open, quiet and classy places – but this outlet in Khan Market is tiny, crowded and noisy. Not surprising, given its location and general lack of space in Khan Market.

Add to that the air conditioning went from warm to cold to warm to cold – like they weren’t sure if it was winter or summer today.

I ordered a Cappuccino and Baked Mascarpone Cheesecake – two of my favs with this brand. The coffee was lukewarm but the usual nice, the cheesecake – although tasty lacked in presentation, and was a bit heavy on the palate, as if it came out of a box, not very fresh.

My friend ordered a Caesarsalad, which looked great, and my friend acknowledged it was good.

So this may not be your usual CB&TL cafe or outlet, but it’s got the good buzz associated with Khan Market. Keep that in mind, and it’s an good place to go πŸ™‚
